
This course is designed to provide post-graduate students in computing and related disciplines, including computer science, information management and data science & artificial intelligence, with necessary knowledge and skills in conducting Master's and PhD-level research effectively.
Students will learn the fundamental principles and practices of research in computing, including identifying research gaps, formulating research questions, conducting literature reviews, designing and executing research methods and experiments, and writing research proposals and papers.

- Understand the nature and conduct of research in the field of computing.
- Critically evaluate current research, identify and define research gaps and questions in the field of computing.
- Conduct comprehensive and systematic literature reviews in computing.
